The end of March and the tallest peaks in Arizona are showing off their beauty. This late afternoon and stormy scene actually obscured the peaks. Gusty winds were pushing the storm to the South, so the peaks revealed themselves at just the right time!
About Ron Chilston
Ron began photographing the world around him in Wyoming at age 9. He then built his own darkroom in his closet by age 10. Ron moved from Wyoming to Phoenix in 1985. He spent two decades in the Custom Photo Lab business in Phoenix Arizona before tiring of all of the things that the big city brings. In 2005 he moved to Jerome Arizona. Jerome is on the National Historic Registry and has some of the most amazing views from their mile high vantage point. Many of the photographs on this website are the views from Jerome, including Sedona, the San Francisco Peaks and the Mogollon Rim.
