Description
An agave cactus gives it's last burst of growth and energy. I have measured 8" of growth in a single 24 hour period. The stalk grows out of the middle of the agave until it's at least 8 to 12' in height then these "leaves" begin to descend from the stalk and out pop red blooms, which then turn orange then yellow the blossom! These small blossoms will pave the way for more agave on the high desert floor. The plant will then die and fall over after time.
